Business Verification Information (For Shop Owners)

To maintain a secure and trustworthy platform, Laundryfy may require laundry shop owners or their authorized representatives to complete a business verification process before subscribing to certain services or features.

As part of the verification process, we may collect the following information:

Registered business name
DTI registration number
Business address
Business contact number
Business email address
Full name of the registered business owner or authorized representative
Images of the DTI Certificate
Images of the Business Permit
Images of a valid government-issued identification card of the registered business owner

Purpose of Collection

We collect this information solely for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:

Verifying the identity and legitimacy of businesses using Laundryfy.
Preventing fraud, identity theft, unauthorized use, and other unlawful activities.
Maintaining the integrity, safety, and trustworthiness of the Laundryfy platform.
Complying with applicable laws, regulations, lawful requests, or legal obligations.
Investigating suspected violations of our Terms & Conditions or other misuse of the platform.
Contacting you regarding your verification status or related matters.

We do not collect business verification information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Verification Process

Submitting verification documents does not guarantee approval. Laundryfy reserves the right to approve, reject, request additional information, or revoke a verification at its sole discretion if the submitted information cannot be verified, appears inaccurate, fraudulent, incomplete, or no longer satisfies our verification requirements.

Approval of a business verification confirms only that the submitted information satisfied our verification requirements at the time of review. It does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, certification, warranty, or representation regarding the quality, reliability, legality, safety, financial condition, or performance of any laundry business.

Storage and Security

Business verification information is stored using reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect it against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. Access is limited to authorized personnel who require the information to perform verification, administrative, security, legal, compliance, or operational functions.

Sharing of Information

Business verification documents are not publicly displayed through the Laundryfy platform.

We may disclose verification information only:

To authorized employees, contractors, or service providers who require access to perform verification or platform operations and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.
When required by applicable law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or lawful request from a government authority.
To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims or protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Laundryfy, our users, or the public.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We do not sell or rent your business verification documents or government-issued identification information to third parties.

Retention

Business verification information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, comply with legal obligations, or satisfy legitimate business and regulatory requirements. After it is no longer required, we may securely delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of such information in accordance with our internal retention practices and applicable law.

Your Responsibility

By submitting business verification information, you represent and warrant that:

The information and documents provided are true, accurate, complete, and up to date.
You are the registered business owner or have the legal authority to act on behalf of the business.
You have the legal right to provide any personal information and documents submitted through the verification process.
You will promptly update Laundryfy if any submitted information materially changes before your verification is approved.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Any changes become effective upon posting the updated Privacy Policy within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the app after the updated Privacy Policy is posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.

Apple App Store Notice

This app is distributed via the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that Apple is not a party to this Privacy Policy and is not responsible for the app or its content.
